Feng Shui: The Color You Wear

Whether you're into fashion or not, how you look and what you wear says something about you. Did you know that every color has it's own vibration? Tap into the power of each color to get what you want out of life by the colors you choose to wear.

Black - Black is mysterious, deep and alluring. If you're in a reflective mood or if you're trying to get focus in your life, black is a good color to wear. Be careful though, black can bring some people down so check your mood before you wear it.

Ben should have avoided the black shortly after his divorce was announced. No matter what he did or didn't do with the nanny - divorce is always hard. Especially when you add celebrity to the mix. While it's easy to lean on our old buddy Black during bleak times, this is an example of why you should avoid it.

Blue - If you're anxious, wear blue. It's calming. If you need to clearly communicate something with someone - wear blue. Wear blue when you have to break up with someone. Don't wear blue when you're feeling blue - it will bring you farther down.

Green - Green is a soothing color with healing properties. It's a good color to wear if you are looking to grow your family or invite community into your life. Having just moved - I should probably wear less black and more green in order to make new friends and feel a part of the community in my new hometown.

Purple - People who love purple are SO dedicated to their love of the color, don't you think? Moreso than any other "favorite color," people who love purple make it known! And you know, purple is the color of nobility. When you wear it you really can feel better about yourself.

Red - People don't wear those red power ties for nothing! Red is a strength sign, it's the color of blood. Wear it when you need to assert your power.

Pink - There's a softness to the color pink that increases romance in your life. It can also bring existing relationships to new heights. However, pink isn't a color to wear if you want to convey power. Leave it in the closet if you're negotiating a raise!

White - White is universal because it's really ALL colors. Therefore, it's the color or infinity and endless thought. Wear white in order to be your most creative.

Gray - Between black and white, gray is the color that takes something from being a thought to being an action. Gray is a great color to wear during the process of a project to keep it moving forward.

Yellow - Yellow helps us focus. Wear it when you need to feel grounded, focus your attention or cheer up.
