When you enhance this area of your home you can expect:
- To be treated more fairly
- Consistently find yourself in the right place at the right time
- The right people will become available to you
- Alleviate your control issues
- Things in your life will run more smoothly
- Travel will become less stressful, more fun
In my home, the Helpful People & Travel gua is my dining room. Since this is a room that I want to be inviting to people in general, it really works in my favor that I'm also asking the energy of the room to invite helpful people into my life.
INVITING TRAVEL AND HELPFUL PEOPLE INTO YOUR HOME
Silver Containers - Silver works well here as do metal and water. A great way to use this here is to position three silver containers somewhere in the room (they do NOT have to be seen). A small, medium and large container works best. In the small container place names of people or projects you need help with now (no farther than 3 weeks out). Be sure this container has a lid and as a general rule, don't place more than 3 requests in one container. It's helpful to use an envelope that can hold papers as your second container. If you can't find a silver or gray envelope, spray paint it or make one out of aluminum foil. In this container you will place things that last months (scripts, invitations, contracts). Be sure to remove an item when you've been helped! The third container is for things that stick around - a doctor, your business, mentors - place the names of people you would like to help you in life here.
Gray - Any and all gray is invited to this area to get helpful people working for you in your life.
Symbols of Helpful Beings or Religious Objects - Whatever or whoever you see as helpful to you should be placed here. Buddha, a Bible, a picture of Dr. Phil, a picture of your parents, self-help books, whatever or whoever you find helpful - find a way to keep them here.
Bells - You ring a bell for service. You're metaphorically ringing the bell for help and service here.
Water - A symbol of "spirit," we can use that help here.
Hands - Symbols of hands work well here. Right now there's a whimsical trend I like of "hand" statues that give the "ok" or "peace" symbols that I really like and I've used in this area. Likewise, a picture of hands or even the outline of your hand on a piece of paper will work!
Symbols of Favorite Places - Whether it's someplace you've been or someplace you would like to go, display images that depict this place to you. I have a world map here because I want to see the world. Specifically, I also have symbols of San Francisco - where Craig and I met and where Jake was born. I also have "kid art" that displays the area where we lived in Brooklyn. I have pictures of myself on the water because I love the beach, ocean, river, lake - I love being on water. I also have a favorite picture of my boys at my parents home in Illinois - a place we love. And finally, ski destinations. Because even though I don't ski and don't plan to, I LOVE ski vacations with my boys.
DANGER BELOW!
Things to look out for in this area include:
- Junk - This isn't where you throw random things in your house. Move your junk from this area.
- Drains - Drains are really bad here. Since the gua directly opposite Helpful People & Travel is Prosperity - you actually NEED this area of your house to be enhanced in order to prosper. Support and helpful people are always needed to succeed. If you've got a sink drain here, tie a red ribbon around it. I always keep red curly ribbon on hand! It's cheap and really, no drain is a good one in your home and I tend to tie red ribbons around all my sink and toilet drains. Always keep your drains closed when not in use! Paint them red if you can.
- Dirt - no dirt, dust, broken items, trash cans or reminders of bad times.
