Today I'm going to focus on some things I told you I'd talk more about this week. What to do if you're being dissed; spicing up your sex life and the ever controversial feng shui "placement of the bed."
If someone has dissed you (especially if it's happening repeatedly), take a look at your Fame & Reputation gua. Are there any obvious trouble spots like a bathtub, sink or fish tank? What about more subtle things like a family picture at the lake or a painting of a beach? Any references to water that are moveable in this area needs to be moved out. If you can't move them out or you move them out and continue to be dissed, try an "intention cure."
Write the word "RESPECT" on red paper and put it somewhere in your Fame & Reputation area. If there is someone in particular who is dissing you, get more specific and write "I will receive respect from __________." Be sure to write it on red paper and wrap it in aluminum foil to protect it. Place it in either the Fame area or your bedroom.
GOT SEX?
If you've got one thing on your mind and you want to focus more energy on improving your SEX LIFE (not relationship, simply SEX), place symbols of physical pleasure in your Relationships & Love area. Things like your copy of "Fifty Shades of Gray," oils or sexy red undies should live in this area of your home. Do you and/or your partner need a libido boost? Place something red under your bed - red is an energy activator.
Remember how I told you that the Relationship & Love area of my house is my kid's game room? Ugh. I can't really put any sexy symbols in their game room! If you can't either, do what I do: get a box and fill it with sexy symbols and put it under your bed. Another thing you can do is to get some help from the "Helpful People" section of your home.
Find the Helpful People & Travel area of your home and in silver or gray write "I have amazing sex available to me all the time." Fold it up and tape it to the underside of a table and leave it in the room to work it's magic.
Where you sleep holds a lot of energy in your relationships whether it's in your Relationships & Love area or not. You want to make sure the energy in your bedroom and around your bed is flowing correctly. Where to place your bed is something I'm often asked about when it comes to feng shui. So, let's get right to it:
DOORS
If your bed is in a direct line with your door, you may be having health problems. Is the door line at the foot of your bed? You may be experiencing problems with your feet. If it hits in the middle your guts may cause you trouble. If you can, move your bed out of the line of your door. However, if you can't, place a storage bench or trunk at the foot of your bed. Place a mirror inside facing the door to reflect energy away from the bed. Place red things in the trunk to slow the flow of energy. If you don't have room for a trunk or bench, tape red ribbon across the bottom of your bed frame.
If at all possible, try not to place the head of your bed placed against the wall that has the door on it. If it's the only place for your bed, place a mirror or shiny object in a spot that reflects the door to you while you are in bed.
WINDOWS
Don't place your bed under a window. If you have no other option, then use red. Place red things on your window sill, tape red ribbon across the bottom of your window sill.
CEILINGS
Try not to place your bed under a sloping ceiling. Wherever the ceiling slopes, your energy is smashed. Place mirrors facing up around or under your bed.
MIRRORS
If you can see your reflection when you sit up in bed, try to block it.
SMALL SPACES
If you live in a studio apartment or similar smaller space, you don't want your bed to be the first thing visitors see. To distract from your bed you could try to disguise it as a couch during the day, place eye catching things in between the door and your bed to distract the eye, or put a room divider up in front of your bed.
So, there you have it! Tomorrow I'm going to take you on a video tour of the Relationships & Love area of my home. Like I said - it's my kid's game room, so it has been a challenge.
